Delta

Delta is a largely agricultural municipality south of Vancouver, comprised of three communities: Ladner, North Delta, and Tsawwassen. It is renowned for its wildlife, particularly its bird species, including the snow geese that stop in the fields during their migration south. Ladner is a historic fishing village with 19th-century homes behind dykes along the Fraser River. North Delta boasts Burn's Bog, a significant habitat with over 200 bird species. Tsawwassen is known for BC Ferries departures, long sandy beaches, and opportunities for windsurfing.
